The Copy function comes in handy if you need to create several work orders with similar information. There are two ways to copy a work order – from the Summary screen or from the Work Order screen. Depending on your user permissions, you may not have access to the Copy button.
1. Log into CityReporter web with your city code, username, and password. Select the Work Orders module on the left side of the screen, then open the tab for the group that contains the work order you want to copy.
2. Select a work order in the table so that the row is highlighted blue, then click on the Copy button at the bottom of the table.
3. A new work order will be created with the fields prefilled from the original work order. Edit the fields as desired and click Save when done.
4. Alternatively, you can open an existing work order from the Summary screen by double-clicking on it or clicking the View button.
5. On the next screen, click the Copy button or use the shortcut keys Ctrl+Shift+y to create a copy of the work order you’re currently viewing.
6. A new work order will be created with the fields prefilled from the original work order. Edit the fields as desired and click Save when done.
